Moderation Policy

1st offense

@Staff calls out the behavior as inappropriate using a "staff message" through the Avi bot.

2nd offense

Timed out for 24 hours.
You won't be able to send or react to messages or join voice channels.

3rd offense

Banned from BentoVid for 1 Week.
(In some cases you may be timed out for 1 week instead.)

4th offense

Banned for 1 year or permanently based on the severity of the offenses.

Additionally

If a staff member isn't present when the offense happens, punishment will be dealt when one becomes available.

What counts as an offense

Anything that goes against the rules, which includes when it happens in a voice channel.

Preserving our server culture is important to us.
Please ⁠#contact-staff if someone is making you feel uncomfortable and/or hesitant to interact in the server.

"Backseat moderating" isn't something that is policed in this server. Please point out the rules to others.

A disagreement is not an argument; people are allowed to disagree on things as long as they remain civil.

If someone tells you to stop doing something, stop doing it.

If someone asks you to change the topic of conversation, or to move it somewhere else, please do so.

Ban Appeals

"I got banned. Can I get unbanned?"

There is no formal bans appeals process so the most likely answer is no, you will never be unbanned.
